When it comes to fuel economy, the Equinox comes in first with 9.2L/100km in the city and 6.1L/100km on the highway. The Ford Escape gets 10L/100km in the city and 7.1L/100km on the highway. Considering that the Equinox has more horsepower than the Escape, that is actually a significant difference in fuel usage.
